How far are you in your planning? Are you staying on track?

I thought I could handle the whole planning myself, but between my family obligations and work, I was in over my head! LOL So I hired a planner to help and she's been a tremendous help. I still like to be hands on so I'm doing as much as I can also. Fiance wants nothing to do with anything lol.

Typical man! Lol. I feel the same completely overwhelmed between work my sick doggy and everything else. Unfortunately I dont think I have the funds to hire a wedding planner. Thank god I have til october but I still feel behind!

There are times where I feel like I'm am right on track and then there are times where I am totally overwhelmed!

I think the most anxiety comes from thinking I am forgetting something. I have plans on hiring a DOC so hopefully she will pick up the slack. Now only if there was a money tree somewhere!

Ahhhh just over 4 months to go!!

Right lol! Men! You'd be surprised what you can afford. Even if it's just consulting hours. And some planners are willing to work with you. Shop around. Find someone who is looking to build their portfolio and need the experience. I was lucky, because my planner was making the transition from doing just social events to doing weddings too and gave me a great discount! Shop around! :)

I'm getting married a week after you. I have basically booked al my vendors; venue, DJ, photo, video, limo, flowers, and officiant. I know who I'm using for my invites. I will be ordering them next month. STDs have gone out already.

I already have my gown and have ordered by BMs dresses. I still have to order my FG dresses and Jr. BM dresses. Next month or in February I will be going to look at tuxes/suits for the men. I also want a second dress so I've been looking for that and my mother has been looking for her dress.

We have our bands, my dress, bm dresses and groomsmen suits, ceremony location, DJ, limo, hotel accommodations and officiant/pastor.

We still need reception space in the City. We're getting married in my grandmother's church in Jersey. Also we need flowers/decor, and invites. Photo/video I know who I want, but I'm still procrastinating. I need to hurry or my date will be booked! My goal is paying everything in full at one time so nothing to worry about the week before or day of the wedding.

All vendors are booked (flowers just waiting for fmil to give check for deposit but they are all set) girls dresses are ordered, my dress is in! groomsmen suit s ordered, invited are being printed, just have to do honeymoon and plan the showers and Bach party! Can't believe it's almost here,

I've been right on track since the beginning. I did the bulk of the planning last Winter (all of my DIY projects, booked all of my vendors, booked honeymoon, bought dress & accessories)... We just bought our wedding bands. Basically the only big thing we need to do is figure out where we are going to live!
