MAY 2013 BRIDES <3
137 DAYS FOR ME! :)So actually I been hanging out at this forum for about 2 years now. I got engaged Feb 2012. I just created a new account because NOW i am really booking everything and i get way to much spam on my other one. Whatever. So .. I been to many places to check out where I want to have my special wedding. I then found out HOW EXPENSIVE weddings are. Im a young bride and I thought I need to think about my future. ( WE ARE NOT lucky to have our parents pay for our wedding) :) They are helping but not the whole thing. So i decided that id rather use that 20-30 grand i would spend on a ONE DAY celebration in buying a house or a car. PLUS i did not fall in love with any of the places i went and thought its not WORTH it so if you went and fell in love with the place IM HAPPY for you. deff not putting down any brides for paying so much. Its your day, you do what you want :) So I RENTED an estate with a creek passing by the back yard and its absolutely beautiful! We will have a TENT just incase it rains because the wedding is in MAY... but the tent will be decorated as if im in a ballroom! and have a dance floor! It will be a open buffet and my friend will be our dj! Im going to choose all my songs upload them on the ipad and give him a microphone! LOL so every detail a-z will be done by me with everything I want. I love being in control of it all! Just incase there are any brides out their who do not want to spend so much money...i just wanted to share my story! Any questions feel free to ask <3 HAVE A LOVEEEELYY day and KISSES AND HUGS to all my may brides!!!

Be very careful w outdoor weddings, the price can add up very quickly and end up being more expensive than a hall and a lot more work to do. I used to plan off premise events and the average wedding was around $30-40k

Love that idea! That sounds so unique but I agree that costs will add up quickly and it will probably come out to the same $$

So far, Its not as expensive as what I would have paid if i rented a ballroom. Im not holding anything back really money isnt a problem, i just didnt want to spend so much because i dont like traditional ballroom weddings. :)

I'm a May bride! But this is what I found. I wanted something unique but WM offered way more than I would have gotten through caterers. Plus the bonus of getting there early for pics and having them give us food/drinks alllll day, I know I don't have to worry! Welcome New Vendors
