May 2016 last minute wedding on a budget - tips needed!!

I am wedding planning for a friend.
She is planning to get married may '16 (3 months away!) on virtually a $0 budget.
We are thinking wedding in a park with a rain date, they have someone to marry them, going to do a cake and punch reception in the park. No frills.
I need suggestions for possible parks, a dress on an extreme budget, and any other tips you have for this type of scenario.
They just want to get married surrounded by their friends and family and enjoy the moment. No frills necessary. Thanks in advance!!

Hi there, I am presently planning 'I do - take 2' and I'm so overwhelmed by all the choices!!! But when I got married the first time way back in 1986, we got married in the Chinese Garden in a Gazebo in Valley Stream (it's right by the Valley Stream Library). The park was beautiful and had a bridge for pictures. Perfect. 40 people. Then we went to the Coral House for a dinner (back then it was still a restaurant too) You would need to call the Valley Stream Village Hall. I don't know where you're located but if you're in Nassau, it's an idea. Best of luck!!!
