May 21 Brides!

Holy cow! One month to go! Are you ready?

We are headed to NY this weekend for my shower and to get our marriage license, meet with photographers, and hopefully pick up my veil.

Today is our RSVP date and we still haven't heard from 5-6 guests, but I know that 3 of them are coming, so there's only 3 couples we aren't sure about.

I'm May 21...but of 2006...I have awhile to go!!!

You're almost there!! I can't wait till this time next year!!!

You and chocolaugh are almost at your one year mark!! It will go by so fast. Enjoy every minute of it!

I was soooooooooo giddy all day yesterday!!
I told random people IM GETTNG MARRIED IN ONE MONTH!
I told the intern, I told a guy who came into the office,

ONE MONTH AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe it has come so fast!!!!

I just realized I only have two and a half more weeks of work left! Good thing too, because I am practically useless here! (Guess where I am now?)

So what does everyone have left to do? I have to still

print our ceremony programs (already drafted)
finish seating cards
wrap favors
make up OOT bags
send photo list to Duet
Get guest count to Danfords
Send readings to readers
Wrap bridal party gifts
finalize wedding day timeline to hand out to bridal party
pack for honeymoon
call cocktail hour musicians and band
final fitting this weekend
finish thank yous from shower
plus continue going to gym, tanning, and other beauty up-keeps!!

i pretty much have the same list...

programs are drafted and will be finalized after we meet with the organist this weekend-assemble all of them-ugghhh!
need to make flyers for the hotels about our shuttle service-no OOT bags since we are doing a breakfast and nearly all but 2 guests are OOT
finish placecards-started assembling candles
order seating chart on Friday-my last date to worry about the few straggling RSVPs out there
guest count to hall on the 13th
go over music with band this weekend
pick up rings this weekend
license on monday
wrap bridal party gifts
mail out schedules today (done-i have a good excel format if anyone wants a sample)
complete packing
final fitting on the 16th dress pick-up 18th
final confirmation on all vendors
print the menus (samples done-paper will be here thursday-print on friday)
assemble sign in picture board (waiting for photo to arrive to stick in frame)
start to pack out car for trip to NY (clean car before pack out)
tan next week-britesmile appt on the 12th-continue to stress and loss weight and try to find time to run
inventory gifts as they arrive to later write thank yous.

OK, 10 days to go. Who is freaking out?

ME!!! I still have to finish printing ceremony programs, seating cards, call vendors, start packing - my list is way too long. And my stupid job is preventing me from getting home at a reasonable time each night!!

I am so exhausted and filled with dread at the all the things I have to do, yet the excitement is totally building in me!

MEEEEEEEEEEE

Right now I am still at work, printing out church programs on the slowest printer ever invented!

OK, now I am really freaking out.

Long Range Forecast says 67 degrees with 60% chance of rain on our day!! And rain on May 20 and May 22!!

I don't care if it is cloudy or cool, I just do not want rain!

it ws supposed to rain yesterday too, but it didn't! Don't get too worried about it. It will be what it will be. Wonderful!! And Special!!! No Matter What!

I hope it's true - our forecast has changed to 'partly cloudy.'
