whats the difference between a hoop skirt and a slip? I am going to search for one today, where should I go? HEEEEEELLLPPP pleaseeeeeeee thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!

yes the hoop skirt has the wire...
im getting a double hoop skirt, so guess how many wires it has????? LOL 2!!!
it makes the dress a little more poofy! which i wanted...
and my dress is SO HEAVY that the hoop wires actually hold the dress off of my legs!!
i can actually feel air under there which will be a Godsend the day of!!! i can dance, i can move around, and im not dying of a 20lb dress!!! LOL

I want something that makes it more poofy and when I move, the dress dosent like drag LOL I dunno if that makes sense ahhaa and is crinoline necessary with a hoop skirt or should I just wear crinoline under my skirt ahhhhhhhh

Yeah like thats what I want, when I dance and move, it moves with me and not drags... my dress is adjusted to wear it wont be bustled or have a train....do you know where I can go to get a hoop, or crinoline or slip??? lOL
if im getting a hoop skirt, is a slip necessary?

i hate the whole idea of it....my dress is so heavy to begin with, id be miserable all day!!
try the hoop skirt!!! i was very skeptical, but i kept whining that my dress wasn't as poofy as the model in the picture, and they suggested that...
i'd tried a regular slip, but all the extra fabric was ridiculous and very hot under my big ol dress....
when i tried the double hoop it was like angels singing above me!!!! im SO GLAD they mentioned it
so if ur dress is heavy and feels like its pulling on ur legs cuz its just hanging there on u, try the hoop skirt!!!!
and i wanna know what u think!!!!!
it does bring the hem up a little bit....for instance, with the hoop, since i already ordered the dress in petite, i had to cap my shoe heel height to 2.5 inches MAX.....
so if u already have shoes, u should be fine if u didnt get ur dress fitted already, otherwise, they may be too tall

id say u would only need a slip if ur dress is see through at all....
im not wearing a slip, just the double hoop skirt...
and they have them at the bridal salon, thats where im buying it from, its like $80
so id ask the bridal salon first (i go to Bridal Suite of Centereach) and if they dont have one, im sure they can tell you where to get one

Ok, thank you soo much, soo helpful I am going to try on hoop skirts today..... My dress is poofy to begin with, heres my gown ... so I want it to floooww and not weigh me down LOL... but where would I go? any bridal store?
if i were you, i'd call your bridal salon that you got your dress from.....see if they have them there for you to try on and/or buy
if not, ask them if they know where you can get them...
i dont know where you live, but my bridal salon is in Centereach out on Long Island in suffolk county...may be a hike for u, but i cant imagine that ur salon wouldn't at least know where to tell you to go!!!
ETA: ur dress is SO PRETTY!!!

where do u live??
if u were willing to make the trip to Centereach, give my bridal salon a call...
tell them ur friends getting her dress there, and a double hoop skirt, and that I recommended u called to find out if u can get one from them, or if they know places more local to you to get one...
and they told me its going to cost about $80
