i like my eggs all the way cooked through so i used to overcook them to make sure, and it took so long that i never bothered. this is great, and you can leave the room and let it cook

if you really want it sure put it on but..... are you sure there is nothing you would prefer over that? I mean most people (me included) use a regular pot I think...
I love gadgets and all but before you know it, you have a ton and its hard to find places to store everything.

yeah i hate that when i try to take the shell off the eggs after boiling they dont come off good. I hate boiling them i never get it right! I cant wait for this machine!!!!

we use it pretty regularly, i love hard boiled eggs but i dont think i made any myself in the past 5 years? just takes too long to cook (if you like them cooked all the way through) and to boil the water, and to have to keep an eye on the stove, etc.
a lot of time's we will pop in a few at night, let it cook as we are getting ready for bed and then eat them for breakfast in the AM
id much rather have this than a picture frame etc

I agree with this. It is so easy to make hard boiled eggs. Put them in a saucepan pan of cold water and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and leave for 20 minutes. Perfect hard boiled eggs without that green ring around the yolk. If you like soft eggs, start the eggs in cold water bring to a boil and boil for 3 to 4 minutes depending upon the desired softness.

I think if it is a must then go for it! There are certain items that may be so impractial to others but I truly need. I am no help with where to find it though!
for example: i ordered the digital sensor soap dispenser (it really helps me when I have to constantly wash my hands after touching chicken) someone bought it for me

yea its very easy, lol, however for some reason my eggs suck! lol. The new egg cooker will fix all that

I agree with you! I didn't register for a kitchen aid mixer but I did register for the egg cooker. everyone likes and uses different things.
the egg cooker is great because it beeps when its done AND also turns itself off
