hi!! i was just wondering what you girls are doing for flowers in may...i was thinking tulips b/c i LOVE them but someone told me they will be too floppy. but my sil said she had them and they put wire through them or something...
anyone have any cool ideas?!

anything in particular such as centerpieces of bok's...As of now i have peonies for my bok but i might want to change it to the pic ill post in here...for cp cala lillies, branches and orchids but i might wnt to change orchids to amaryllis, not sure yet.
I'm a flower dummy - don't even know. But I like that pic Espo! Doing pink/fuschia boks for my BMs, maybe for me too, mixed with something white - I don't know!!!

yeah the the bm bok would be great, that one is gorgeous too...I have other pink bok's here ya go

Peonies are gorgeous, and they're only in season a very short period of time but the good thing is that they're in season in May ...we wont get charged the high amount they usually are since they're out of the season most of the year

fh and i love tulips too! we're not sure what to do with our flowers as of yet. so far, i think we will have yellow and pink roses for the entourage and jade orchids for my bok.
we are having floating candles and flowers for the centerpieces.
those are just ideas. no definite plans yet.

im doing cherry blossoms and peonies for my centerpieces....the cherry blossoms were in full bloom all over brooklyn today, i loved it!! not sure for the boKs yet, definitely something pink....those did look real nice denise....keep em coming LOL

I'm a May bride also and I'm having difficulties trying to decide on centerpieces using flowers that are in season. I'm loving the ivory and pink. Can you guys post pics of a few, either high or low centerpieces?

Im using a lot of calla lillies...
I wanted tulips soooooooo bad but they are going out of season by my date....and yes....they do kinda suck not being in water and in any kind of heat...so as much as i love them, im not going to besides every florist i went to (8 total!!!) said what they would be able to get might not be the best..
Im also doing TONs of orchids and some roses too
