we got our HM quote too.. but FH found better airfares online.. so we booked the flight and asked Tom to help us with the rest.. and I hope that he does..

o yah cake I haven't started that yet!! I got my invites.. last week.. now I have to assemble them.. and send it off..

when are you sending - and what's your rsvp date, do you know? I have no clue

ugh forced myself to pick invites.. now that i got it, i think it came out ok.. (i'll wait for the verdict once they go out).. i'm planning to send mine out mid feb - our guest list huge.. (my parents and FH's parents has to invite everyone.. it's a culture thing) so we need ample time to make the phone calls and quite possibly even invite others..

i'll FM you the the rsvp stuff.. lurkers..

i did a whole to do list last night during my boring class. I have a lot to do but none of it is major to me.

i can't deal with or decide on invites - i hate them ALL! and all the ones I like are like 1k or up... i might try to go this weekend to party city and look at some in person - i don't know what's wroing with me, I like break out in hives at the thought of picking out invites

i am in the same boat, havent picked invites

it's really bad, I SO can't decide. and fh is no help. I want his input but he likes super boring/plain and i'm so sick of that and want something different.

i know its crazy at this point im gonna have to just pick something. I do like the sample we got, fh liked it alot too, i just didnt like one thing about it but the company will make any changes we want so if all else fails ill just go with those.

Make sure you are certain on your WORDING!!! That was worse than taking 6 mons to decide on an invite! We spent 3 hours in the store agonizing over the wording...it was a huge production on whos names go on and this parent and that parent. my invite was small, so we used together with their parents... (no names)

Really think about the wording for the invite and the 2 cards as well! Im telling u 3 hours!

i'm not doing any DIYs - am i the only one? I can't even fathom trying to be creative.

here's where i've looked for invites:

www.finestationary.com
www.einvite.com
www.whiteaisle.com
www.notfromabox.com
www.papyrus.com

still looking for something a little different but i don't want to customize anything myself. if anyone has different ideas or got invites from somewhere else, let me know. so far i've been too lazy/busy to go in person but i might have to. thanks

we took a long time for the words too.. and we got our cards done in another country.. so it took me about 3 months to finalize the words and get them to print the stuff.. and even now, i wish i had written out certain stuff..

YEAH THE company we ordered a sample from sent over a sheet with a bunch of different options for wording so i think i know what we're going with. But yeah i definitely see how that can be a big PITA

their invites are all contemporary style so not a typical type invitation. I have a bunch more sites at home if you want to check out. I cant remember all off the top of my head

one i do remember is www.tgkdesigns.com

what exactly type of invite are you looking for? maybe we can help you

awesome, thanks!

I'm not really sure that's my problem. I want something 'different' (i'm sure everyone says that). I don't want overly flowery, white or plain ivory - so sick of super plain embossed invites. and i hate the color pink... kind of going with the chocolate brown theme because that is my sister's dress color. I saw a kate spade one I like that is dark brown, but the branches are yellow and i don't like that. then I saw a white one with dark brown branches but i don't want a white background!

honestly I didn't want to spend a lot of invites but if i find one i love I might just do it. i'm going so budget on everything else, might as well have that one splurge! didn't think it would be invites though.
