its funny bc its what i am doing right now, going over mylist and making sure i put down everybody who rsvp'd already, and my dad called a bunch of ppl last night and got their answers so currently adding them

Denise, how many people did you expect to RSVP yes? what was your minimum?

my minimum is 275 and that is exactly where i want to be at, id rather be a little bit under than over that. As of right now its looking good ...we are missing about 80-something rsvps but out of those i already know a few of their answers. Actually now im a little worried about being too under lol ill find out more today bc my dad is on the phone calling ppl all day hahahaha. I also know of a couple of ppl that said definitely yes verbally but havent sent rsvp so i didnt put them down yet, they keep saying they forgot to send rsvp so just going to call them to double check one more time hahaha. I didnt want to be over and looks like i should be fine with that not happening bc although we are missing over 80 rsvps i know of some that will rsvp no

looks like you should be just around 275 then! our minimum is pretty low (160) -- higher than their default for a Sun afternoon, but in retrospect we should have made it even higher. we didnt realize how many more people would be added

we're inviting just over 300, and my mom expects 235 to come... we have a lot of OOTers (all of FH's family, the majority of our friends) and some courtesy invites (his bball coach, our freshman RA, some extended extended family) but I guess you never know....a lot of his family has booked their hotel/flights already, but I'm really curious to see who can come. NRC is going to throw in some extras if we go way over our minimum (which we will almost certainly do) but

well how many ppl does your room hold, might still be ok.

yeah its funny with rsvps, some people you just expect not to come end up coming and then a few you expect rsvp no and youre like W** ... We had a few of fh's family just the wife rsvp yes and said the husband cant come bc they have nobody to watch the kid and we are not allowing kids not many but still a few and some very surprising. Then a few no rsvps we were VERY surprised by but not many i would say one couple surprised us the most. Then a few courtesy ones like you said and they said yes and funny thing is that they are the ones who even wrote on the RSVP, so happy for you and can't wait.

good luck, hope you get the number of ppl you want.

My rsvp date was April 30, and we didnt get back all of them of course! so my mom is calling everyone to find out. We are guaranteed for 200 guests at RH so im hoping we get close to that!!

We pretty much have all of them. I have one cousin who i know is coming and said she'll send it, but who knows when?
Our final count is much lower than we thought it would be, but it actually works out fine. We invited around 150 and only 85 are coming. Fh hasn't seen a lot of his extended family in almost 10 years, so i wasn't expecting them to come. A lot of his friends used the 'its a friday' excuse. But like i said it works out fine anyway. Maybe our hall will throw something in?

Our room will hold everyone so that's not a problem, I just hope as many of our friends come as possible. Then there are people like our freshman RA who I mentioned before -- we started dating when we both lived on her floor, we still keep in touch with her, she drove 3 hours to come to FH's last bball game (long after she had graduated) but she's in London for med school now... I would be absolutely shocked if she came, but we would be thrilled if she did. We're inviting her anyway because we figured it would be cool for her to get a wedding invite from her 'floorcest couple'
