May Brides Question

May Brides Question

My FW wants to have as little a gap as possible between the ceremony and CH at the reception.

But we also need time for pictures.

How much sunlight do you think we will have for a May 28th wedding if we want to do pictures at the Swan Club between 6:30 and 7:00-7:30.

I want it to be sunny enough so the pictures look good. Sunset for that day is 8:19pm.

I guess brides that have already gotten married in May would have a good idea. What times did you take your pictures?

Now I was married about month before yours will be but we took outdoor pictures until about 7pm. We had blue skies and the sun shining in our pics.

I got married on May 28 and the sun was so strong that in some of my pictures I am squinting. It was such a beautiful day.

We had our CH at 7:00 also. You will have plenty of sunlight still, don't worry.

Please check my review out if you would like and see for yourself our pictures.

Hey Pill,
as long at there is no backlighting and the photographer uses a light meter your pics should come out fine until about 1/2 hour before sunset. After that you will most likely get weird shadows.

...unless of course you want a backlight silhouette shot.

Thats very reassuring to know. At first I thought DST didn't kick in till June... but now I realize that it kicks in April.

Sunset for your wedding date is 7:51... so its about 25 more minutes of sun. I guess that means I can safely take pictures till about 7:30 or so which would be perfect.
