I believe the May Forum was the result of some kind fo contest. Whatever thread had the most posts in a certain period of time would get its own board.

there is not much activity there - mostly b/c may has past and next may is still over 10 months away. i'm surprised its still here

i think its a little of both - i mean it was created b/c of the contest, but it is a very popular month for weddings so it stuck around
