May I ask what your moms are paid for their gowns?

I saw two today that were magnificent, but $3,000. I know it's too much but I was wondering how many Moms gave into it?

My mom didnt buy hers yet...but so far all of the gowns we have looked at for her range from 2-3,000.00

My mother got hers in Lord & Taylors for $220.

under $500. she got it at the bridal garden in bethpage. she loved that store! huge selection. wonderful service.

we thought most of the gowns at the bridal salons were outrageous.

rk bridal is supposed to be a good place for mom's dresses that are reasonbably priced.

My mother has not bought her dress yet - but was not thinking of some of the doudy MOB dresses she saw in the bridal stores - She found some very elegant dresses at Nordstroms from 200-1000, and at Saks from 500-2000.

Well we started out with a budget of $1000 but realized that after going to store after store and trying on dress after dress she could not stick to that. So I think after 17 stores she gave in and said whatever it takes. We wound up going back to the first store she looked in and she got her dress- it was $2400 although it's custom made which is nice. But my mom is NOT the type to spend like that- she was horrified but it IS a beautiful dress!

Originally, she liked a few diffferent dresses at the bridal salons that ran about $500. When she came with me to Davids for my BM dresses, she fell in love with a that was $220.

My mom spent about $500 on her dress for my brother's wedding and since she likes that designer, I suppose she will be getting another one and it will cost about the same.

Stepmom $900
FMIL maybe $200 (but she works at lord & taylor which is where she got it at)

my mo got hers at sugar plum and I know it was expensive. She said not at much as mine,,,so somewhere under $800 (it's all beaded, with a beaded jacket)

My mother and my stepmother both paid about $500 each. My Mom got hers from Adrienne's in Islip- they have an extensive selection of MOB dresses. Is there really a need to spend 1-2k on something you'll wear once?

MOB gown prices are ridiculous nowadays. Most of them even more expensive the the bride's gown??? My mom said there was no way she would pay that much for a dress she would probably only wear once. So she ordered a Bill Levkoff dress from the new bridesmaid's line and she's having a bolero type jacket made to match the dress. It's costing her approximately $200.

My mom's dress is a Montage by Mon Cheri and costs $500.00 although we have a 'connection' at the bridal store and she will most likely get a discounted price.

My stepmom got a gorgeous dress at Estelle's and paid only $125.00.

FMIL is still undecided but bought a 100% silk gown with a fully beaded jacket at Lord & Taylor's (super super clearance sale) for like $75.00.

My Mom's dress was $150 BEFORE the 15% Discount we got for buying all at David's.

It looks gorgeous on her, but I do not advocate for David's.

My Matron of Honor's Mom got her dress for MoH's wedding for $10, and she looked FANTASTIC!

Find a nice dress that makes you feel good - it shouldn't cost THAT much.
