My mom bought her dress at Estelles on Rt 110. She actually bought two, and asked me which one I liked better. I don't know exactly how much she paid but probably around $100-$150. And it is beautiful, it suits her well! She will be wearing the second one to my sisters wedding. h

My mom paid 189 for a dress for my wedding, and 600 for my brothers.

I just found this thread I started and you girls have to hear this. I went to two trunk shows yesterday, Bridal Reflections and Filly's. The prices of couture MOB Gowns are out of control. $3500, $3800, $4100 and UP! The fabrics were amazingly gorgeous, but I would so much rather give the money to my daughter. Then I went into The Elegant Bride on Willis Ave. They had three very, very nice dresses for under $1,000. You were all so right, and thanks. It's good to have someone help put it all in perspective. I already have one designer gown hanging in the closet never to be worn again, I really don't need another!

My Mom's was around 250 she found a dress at Lord and Taylors

My mon's dress is about $400. She got it at Lydia's Bridal in Copiague. I highly recommend this shop. They are wonderful and have a beautiful selection of every type of dress.

I think my mom's was between $400-$500. She got it at Paradise Bridal in Patchouge.

There's no way I'd pay that much for my gown. It's considerably more than my daughter paid for hers!
