FH called me at work today and told me that our Usher was called to go to Iraq. He's in the reserves and may have to leave in like 2 months. That stinks! We may ask someone else to take his place. Just thought I'd share my disappointment with you guys!

I've been concerned about the same thing.... FH's bro who is our BM is also a bigwig who is working right now in the Pentagon has been on my mind lately..... But I refuse to voice my opinions to Pete......

We lost one of the GM in our wedding to cancer in NOV. Just remember that he will be there! In our hearts, prayers and stories! It ****s that he can not be part of your day physically,but please keep him, in some way there.

That stinks..I have a friend getting married March 1st and her FH may be shipped out any day. So she is really sad..they may not get to have there wedding at all. He is in the marines.

Lets keep things in perspective here. While it is unfortunate that you won't have your usher, I am worried that this is what you are focused on. What about the fact that your friend is heading into a war zone? I don't mean to be a downer, I just want to make sure that you don't express this 'disappointment' to your friend, who would probably be rather hurt.
