What do you do with guest who reply with 1 person, but then write a note like 'Just me-for now' or 'Julia and Dominick may come as well' or just a yes and in the # space a ??
I have gotten 4 of these!!!
What do I do with that??

If you don't hear definite answers by your RSVP date, I would call and tell them that you need to know for the head count.

I've never heard of that. I'd give them a call and give them a deadline for their final answer. It should be the same as the RSVP date. How rude.

I'm sorry that's happening to you. I think it's so rude. The same thing happened to me. I called those people up on my rsvp date & asked them to please give me a fianl count while on the phone. I think its horrible that people do that.

It's not a maybe sort of thing, what do peopel think ? I'd say call them if they do not call you by the actual RSVP date and say you need to know and ocne you give the muber that is that!

That is so rude!!! They should have waited to send the RSVP back to you until they knew for sure unless it was the date they needed to be back to you by but still, if they didn't know then then they shouldn't bring them. I would call and ask for sure.

So rude!!! People can be so inconsiderate... by the time you call the non responders, call them to and say you need a definite answer. My RSVP date is tomorrow and we're still waiting on a bunch... i'm giving them until tuesday and then I'm calling!

agreed. Call them shortly after ur RSVP date. I have a few 'maybes', but they didn't officially RSVP, just verbally.

I'd call them just after your RSVP date (like the day after) and tell them that you need to know definitively and it is for the hall. if people are still 'maybes' i would say, then i'm sorry, you won't be able to come. that will get them into gear!

Another thing to worry about! No: I'd call them a few days after. I really don't think people understand that a wedding is NOT a house party!

If you don;t hear from them the date of the RSVP, call them to find out what the situation is. I would expet they would at least call by the RSVP date to update you.
People just think of every way to stress you out more. I would be embarassed and I would have waited until I had a better answer. What's the hold-up anyway?
