ok so heres the deal... the BM we were dealing with at our RH is no longer there and we are now dealing with someone else who i have never met
so anyway FH gets a call today reminding him that a payment is due in a few days and fh agreed and said im pretty sure is about 2000 and the BM kinda chuckeled and said no sir... 50% of your TOTAL is due in a few days... so as FH understands lets say the RH totall is 18,000 we owe 9,000 in a few days... mind you we have already been paying towards the balance 6500 to be exact.. so How i understood this is that we owed the difference between the 6500 and the 9000, which would be 2500, right??
well FH understands thats not the case that we owe 9000 in a few days and then the last payment would be the 2500
IM SO CONFUSED.. is this normally the way it works????

our hall gave us a payment break down. It told us when and how much each payment needs to be.
So there will be no confusion of what is due when. The final payment is about half but it could change because that amount is based on our min. amount of people.

i also have it broken down in my contract
every hall is different. We made a deposit and had about 8-9 payments to make since we got engaged. The way they did the payments and broke it down is to add up to 50% of our balance. So after all our payments which we made our last payment in February, the total left is exactly 50% and we owe that 10 days before the wedding
yup thats what i thought it makes the most sense!
yeah definitely have them go over the whole thing thoroughly with you and make sure they dont mess up. Look at your contract if theres info on that. Good luck
