the only wedding shoes that I really like (3 pairs in total) ALL have FOUR INCH HEELS! I could barely stand in them to try them on! Do you think if I buy the shoes and take them to a shoemaker, they could chop off two inches and make them two (or two and a half) inch heels without ruining the shoes?

I don't thin k it would work because of the arch in the shoe. Did you ever break a heel and it gets weird fitting? I would think it is the same way. Don't give up the search!

Mine are 4 inch heels - I need them cause I'm so short Try girls stores that sell prom wear - they have a lot of shorter versions of gorgeous shoes too

Thanks, guys! I'll actually try to post the pics tomorrow from work. They are all pointy with a bow on them (similar to the Vera Wang's with the bow on top).
