Maybe this is a stupid question but...
Do I use periods between the abbreviations of states...for example:
Susie Smith
555 Smith Street, N.Y. 55555
OR
Susie Smith
555 Smith Street, NY 55555
Periods or NO period??

Re: Maybe this is a stupid question but...
Is this for STD's or for invites?
For STD's you can do NY (no periods)
But for invites, the state has to spelled out (New York)

Re: Maybe this is a stupid question but...
I leave the periods out for regular use. If its for invitations, I would write the name of the state out.
