is it common for men to loose interest in sex with their preggo wives? Maybe it's just me...
Sorry if this is TMI

Maybe they are scared of hurting the baby, maybe they are scared of the baby seeing the peepee monster poking in at them...

That's too funny!! I actually had a talk with my dh and he said that's not it but I think he's secretly scared...

Sounds like it... dont worry... after some time using a bottle of hand lotion or your favorite conditioner he will change his mind

YES! Towards the end of the pregnancy I was so uncomfortable he was afraid to make me more uncomfortable and/or hurt me (or baby )

Mine didn't want anything to do with me for like 6 months. UGH. Did not help my self esteem at ALL. I tried to talk to him, but it didn't work... he is not great with talking about feelings. Sucks, but hang in there.

I agree with the others who suggest he is probably concerned about hurting you or the baby, or depending on how far along you are a little weirded out by having a third person in the room, even if that person is inside you.
As long as he hasn't stopped being affectionate in general, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm not pg or a mom, but my DH is terrfied of hurting infants and pg women. If he is around an infant he is like their personal bodyguard, he thinks everything is about to fall, crack, break, leak, etc. With pg women he behaves the same. I think when I am pg he will not admit to being afriad to have sex, but he will be!

My husband told me that he was weirded out by the fact that I was pregnant. From the time I was about 4-5 months on he was just not interested and it even took a while post baby.
