what rsvp date are you putting on your invites? we are getting married June 1st and I want to give myself enough time to track everyone down. as of right now we have may 1st but i'm thinking of april 1st to play it safe.

I am July 1st and am probably using May 31st as our RSVP date, leaving 2-3 weeks before we have to give a final count to our RH.
If you are June 1st, I would use the last week of April as your RSVP date, and send them 4-6 weeks before that date.

I'm June 15th - so most likely April 30th (6 weeks).
Hope that helps!! I don't want to be calling everyone the few weeks before my wedding when I don't get the responses back so I figured 6 weeks was good!

Ive heard 6 weeks for local guests and 8 weeks for out of towners is a good rule of thumb :)

I guess it's safe to say 4-6 weeks is normal. I know I'm going to have to chase a lot of people. Not 1 person rsvp'd for fh's surprise 30th birthday 2 yrs ago when i threw him one.
