May/June Weddings 2006

Hi
We are planning a spring 2006 wedding. It's slow going but exciting. We have been together for 4 years now and have kids together the youngest is 10months old. We are going to the North Ritz Club on Saturday. All I've heard is positive things.
We are looking to plan a unique wedding to remember. I had posted a board that was call Help Need to out do last family wedding, need a hall! Well too many people took that literally so I thought I'd start over. I was even rudely called a liar by one bride when I tried to explain what I meant by the topic.
Anyhow, I have not turned my wedding planning into a contest within my family and hopefully there are out there that know what Im talking about when I say that family can cause more stress on you then rude vendors! Believe me I am like any other when I say I want MY fairytale day and for it to be remembered just as I hope all the other weddings in my family are remembered. However, I do like to do things outside of the traditional a bit. Along the lines of extra things for the kids to do(a clown, or goodie bags geared just for them)A mini casino was a thought during the cocktail hour for all the Atlantic City lovers in our families. I also appreciate feedback negative or postitive on ideas however, I can do without the obnoxious judgements. Suggestions are great too. If you don't like the hall I am going to look at or deceide on I want to know why(this does not mean I am going to change my mind, but it gives me something to address before it causes me stress on my day) So now that I have explained a bit hopefully those of you you viewed my Need to out do last family wedding will understand a bit better!
