Mean People at David's Bridal

Okay so me and my sis were passing by David's Bridal and we decided to go in and take a look at bridesmaid dresses. So after we looked my lil sis wants me to try on a wedding gown. There is like 50 poeple in the store all taking gowns off the racks and then going to try them on. SO i figure okay, I'll do the same. I grab one dress and as I walk in the fitting room this woman comes over and practically attacks me!!! She was like you CANNOT try that on, you do not have a consultant. OKay thast fine but you don't have to scream at me in a store full of people. I did find bridesmaid dresses there I liked but if the people there are that rude I will never go back.

I hate to tell you this...but welcome to David's Bridal. I am currently dealing with them for my cousin's wedding in Ohio. Ugh is all i can say!

Oh no Im sorry to hear that. Which one in Westbury? I plan on using David's bridal for last resort if I cannot find anything else.

I do not like that place at all!! My friend got married last year and used them and we had problems with them!! They were soo rude there!

They are ALL the same!! I HATE DAvids Bridal! I actually saw one do this to a BRIDE!!! THey are tacky and have no class!!

Not for nothing, but if you walked in to any other bridal salon with no appointment and started grabbing dresses to try on, I feel it would not be recieved very well.

That said, avoid David's on the weekends at all cost. Weekdays are much better.

i'm a past bride from david's. they're all not like that. i had great sales people for my dress and my girls dresses. i would try to go during the week to try on gowns since its less crowded

That *****...I used david's bridal in charlotte for my bridal gown and all my girls in NY got their dresses from david's as well..it worked out well for me !!

Unfortunately, they do not cater to brides. They are so unbearable at times. I would only use them if I needed a dress in a short period of time.

It sounds like this happened to alot of people. I wasn't planning on getting my dress there - they don't carry any designers that I like. But what made me mad was how the woman screamed at me in front of alot of people as if I was committing a crime.

I actually got my dress from there and had no complaints from them. From what i was reading on here I was fighting with my mom not to go there. It was nothing compared to what I thought it would be like. I also went during the week (wednesday).

I have heard mixed things about them...good and bad! But even then it wasnt right, she didnt need to flip her wig!!!

I actually called them to book an appointment and I was looking for a certain bridal dress and they don't carry it so I did not book an appointment and they call me on my cell everyday at the same time...
