meaningful favor.....

hey ladies-

i am sure you have heard of this before but i figured it could be mentioned again. For one of my favors, I made a donation to the cancer society. they have a wedding scroll program... they make up cute personalized scrolls for you to give to your gueests. you can donate as much as you can and it doesnt have to be all at once. you also can donate to other causes...

I did that and had little chocolates with our names on them. I had so many people come up to us and tell us how special our favor was to them.

I'm also making a donation as a favor. A friend/collegue of mine has an extremely rare bone disease and I asked her if the society she belonged to offered donation scrolls. she said no, but because of the interest i had in it she asked the president if they could make them for me and she loved the idea!

So, not only will this help raise money, but awareness too!

In fact, since i mentioned it, my friend's sister decided to do it for her wedding too!
