medela pump in style

I am not able to find this information anywhere.....I see that the PIS advanced comes with containers as well as bags. If I choose to ONLY use containers, can I use ANY ones or do they have to be theirs?

ETA: And where is the best place to purchase it online?

Thanks

Re: medela pump in style

I got my PISA from
Leche Connection
Linda is GREAT and a huge help. I also saved about $100 off the BRU/BBB price too.

It comes with 4 bottles that you pump the milk into. I, personally, could NEVER afford to buy as many bottles as bags. I have over 400 bags of frozen breastmilk in my freezer. I also could never store that many bottles in my standup freezer. I am not sure why you would want to do that anyway. You pump into the bottles then just pour the milk you want to freeze into the Gerber or Lasiohon (sp?) bags. The Medela bags stink. I think the PISA comes with like 5 free trial Medela bags. I still have them so if you really like them I will mail them off to you. Just let me know.

You have to pump into their bottles (that attach to the horns of the breastpump) but you can then pour the milk into anything you want to.

Does this help answer your question?
