Medical Offices..(Vent)

Can someone tell me what on earth is the rationale for having you last appointment at 5 o clock.........are they for real??? I am sure they think that that is convenient for everybody Ridiculous

Its all just to make your life a little more fustrating!! I can never get a Dr. appt! I student teach all day and go straight to work until 7.

I am so fed up with my Dr's office. Every time I call the receptionist, they are rude, nasty and when I leave a message they take forever to get back to me.

I mean for Christ sake, how in the HELL are you supposed to make an appointment with those hours. Why can'ty people realize that certain jobs don't give you the luxury of a 9-5.........I am PISSED off......I am in pain with my teeth and they are only open till 5......telling me she can squeeze me in at $:30.........Hello I work in Tribeca she is at the UN building, who am I houdini...how the hecxk am I supposed to make it to midtown in 30 minutes in nyc traffic

eta - and no saturday hours

I work for a doctor, and it is very hard sometimes to get staff to stay late. I can understand what u mean when they say the staff is rude, I have been treated like that at a doctors office and they do not care. A doctors office had the nerve to send my dads bill to collections afer he died!!! They billed for him being alive , when he was dead, and when I called the doctors office, they screamed at me. I am happy to say I manage a doctors office and I am very accomadadting and I feel your pain, I would just switch doctors. A lot of the patients tell me that it is very hard to find a nice staff like my office has.

Some doctors at least offer late nights maybe two times a week. I don't even bother with doctors who only have 9-5 office hours. I'm not using a vacation day to go to an appointment.

Exactly my point, that is INSANE...I am so MAdd..............but what I did was, I am going to leave work 20 minutes early and have a cab waiting for me to take me to the dentist..........extra expense I just can't handle the pain for another week
