Re: Mediter. cruise

FH and i actually just booked our medit. cruise this past week.

cruises are great.. all your food and entertainment is included and all you have to pay for are the shore excursions -- which actually were pretty inexpensive compared to other cruises i've been on.

if ya want any info.. just ask.

for price info i think we were around 1200ish per person for a room with an oceanview. FH knows more details so i can ask him later.

Re: Mediter. cruise

We have friends who did it, who absolutely loved it. They said it was a great way to see Europe in a small amount of time. FH and I wanted to do it but the departing dates don't fall right for us.

I've been on a cruise in the carribean and that was wonderful.

Re: Mediter. cruise

This is what we're doing. We're taking the Celebrity Millenium on June 8th. It leaves from Barcelona and goes to Nice/Monte Carlo, Florence/Pisa, Rome, Naples/Capri, Santorini, Athens, Mykonos, Dubrovnik and Venice.

FM for details.

Re: Mediter. cruise

I work for COSTA CRUISES, We are Europe's #1 Cruise line. We are under Carnival Corporation and have more itineraries and sailing dates than anyone else out there. Most of our ships are new and leave from Venice, Rome or Savona ( Northern Italy). The great part about our Cruises is that not only are you going to Europe to experience it but Our ships offer Cruising Italian style, meaning all the food is Authentic Italian and the ambiance is truly European. What good it it to go to Europe if you are always with Americans??? On Costa you will meet people from all over the world and have a great time doing it. We were just voted World's best Cruise line for our Mediterranean Itineraries!!! We mostly leave on SUN & MONDAYS. And Most of the Cruises are 7 nighters, which is great if you want to pair it up with a land tour too!!!

Just remember, right now with the Euro being so high, the Cruise is the best way to go because you only unpack once, all your food is taken care of and you are experiencing some of the most beautiful countries, and cities in the world.

Our Website is not that good ( the Europeans have not gotten on the World Wide Web Band wagon, but if you want more information, please FM me or go to your Travel Agent and ask for a COSTA EUROPE BROCHURE. IF THEY DON'T HAVE ONE I CAN SEND IT TO YOU.
