Met: We have known each other along time, our parents knew each other. He was my high school crush. And no I am marrying him :)

Proposal: August 23, 2003 we went to go see a fire works show at the beach. As we sat in the sand talking, he pulled a clam shell from the sand (which he had just put there) and said 'hey babe look what I found' When I turned to look,there he was with the clam shell open in his hand and my ring was in it!

Wedding: Westbury Manor August 5, 2005
Honeymoon: St. John for 2 weeks

(im posting a pic...sorry if its HUGE...dont know attachments too well..im a newbie!)
Me: Bridget
He: Christian
Me: I work at a High School in Nassau County
He: Is finishing up his Masters in School Psychology
Met: We may have met 18 years ago.....at St. Brigid's Elementary School. Christian was in my sister's second grade class! (We have the communion picture to prove it!)

We 'officially' met years later while working at a High School. We were friendly and said hello...some small talk....smiles....then I asked Christian to sit at my lunch table! We both started sharing stories about 'where we grew up, what schools we went to....' He asked me if I had a sister who used to go to St. Brigids with him a while back. We immediately realized that they had....and I immediately remembered that platinum blonde hair!
The next year Christian worked as my Teaching Assistant. On a camping trip with our class, after a little friendly conversation and marshmallow roasting.....the heat from the fire was beginning to spread. Christian and I soon discovered that our friendship was the perfect foundation for a growing love. I knew then that I could 'marry him tomorrow and never look back.'
Ring: Perfect!
Proposal: West End Beach, Long Island
Wedding: Bridgeview Yacht Club 8/6/05
Honeymoon: Tahiti...woohoo!
Dress: Yolanda Couture

MET: Long story short. My sister met him, went out with him a couple of times. Remained friendly with him and kept telling him he and I would be perfect for each other. Five years later I'm looking for love on line and guess who I found. The guy my sister wanted me to meet five years ago.
RING: It's a round diamond in a square platinum setting. (It's actually my mom's, since she passed away 2 years ago.
PROPOSAL: He actually text messaged me, believe it or not.

Met: 9 yrs ago while I was working for a bank and he was the messenger picking up the mail-I left him a card on top of the mail and the rest, as they say, is history.
