I have read this thread for weeks and never got a round to replying but now that i have finally finished readying them up to date here goesssssssss..

We met::

in 97' I started dating his best friend... didn't work out and we remained firends. turned into more a few months later...until my ex/his BF did not like the idea. we broke up ... parted for 8 months then it was impossible to stay away from eachother and Ex accepted it. Now we are all very good friends and my Ex is even in the wedding party

Proposal: christmas eve... just finished cooking for holiday dinner and started washing the dishes and he got itchy ( needed to pop the ??? before we went to sisters for
dinner... so i turned aroudn from the sink and he was on the floor...) shaking and asked me.... and he finished the dishes

here's my story

me:Jodi 27

I work with handicapp children, he's a teacher

met: through friends-6 years later

propose: at a bed and breakfast in port jeff. while i was in the shower, he put red roses all over the bed and hid the ring in the middle of it. when i got out of the shower he had the video cam and he was down on his knee asking will you marry me, of course i said yes.

ring: platnium, round center stone, bagettes going different ways .. hard to explain.

wedding:east meadow jewish center 7/10

honeymoon:hawaii for 2 weeks

Honeymoon: where????when????(postponed b/c of jobs) Hopefully, Africa in February.
