Has everyone met their minimum? If not by how many guests were you off?
The thought of paying for invisible people is keeping me up at night!

we are having this problem also.. we are about 10 people short.. im so upset by this..
i know at our hall the vendors can be used to make the minimum... then ill be only 4 short. but still

I would rather ask random people to go than pay for invisible people. Any B-list or C-list people u can ask? Friends of parents? Neighbors?

its true... some halls allow you to have a credit ...you should definietly ask them that if you do not make your minimum!!

That's a good idea! We upped our minimum twice and I'm pretty sure we'll meet it, but worst case we'll let people bring guests. Right now we're only allowing people guests if they are in a serious relationship.

i dont have a min but i do have a max
the place can not hold anymore than 110 people so i am freaking out about having more than that show up!!!!!!!!!
do you have a b & c list to invite later on?
also, i'm sure as a last minute you could invite some LIW girls you know on here. im sure girls on here wouldnt mind being invited last minute
i know i would go! AND i would bring a gift!

for my engagement party, the RH had a minimum of 60 people, and up until the day before, we only had 55. Then, at 5pm on the day before, we got 2 calls from FH's cousins...5 more people were coming!
We made our minimum...yay!!! if we hadn't we were going to ask for 5 meals to take with us...if we were paying for them, we weren't going to leave without the food!

We didn't meet ours.
Our hall let us count every 2 vendors as 1 guest toward our minimum and then cut a deal with us. They only charged us half of what we were missing. We weren't off by many. I think we were about 6 or 7 people below our minimum, but only paid for 3 extras.
If you are way below, you might be able to get a few 'extras' thrown in.
I just looked at it as being waaaaaay better than having to pay for ALL 200 people we invited! (Our minimum was 140)
