Meeting with a photographer!

Hey girls,

Meeting with a few photographers and was wondering what types of questions did you ask? I want to make sure I don't walk away and go 'whoops, I forgot to ask her about......'

Thanks!!!

just ask whats important to you.

e-pics if they're included

ask if you get the pics on a disk, if you get the proofs and how they do that

albums

hours they will cover

Re: Meeting with a photographer!

ask if the shoot digital or film
ask if you get a disc with the images or the negatives
ask if the disc is high resolution or not
ask what format they shoot in if it's digitial (.raw or .jpg)
ask how many proofs you usually get
if you get all the proofs, how they are given to you, ask about the equipment they use and if they have back ups, ask if they do their own printing or if they send it out
do you have say in the design of your album?

do they do posed and candid? only candid?
if you are looking for photojournalistic stuff, ask that that means to them.

ask to see a lot of examples of their work, differant albums, differant poses, differant formalities

have they ever worked at your venue?

ask for referances and then follow up by contacting the referances

ask about e-pics, if they are included, how many prints you get, and if they are done on location or in studio

there are more... let me see if i have my list

This is great girls!!! Thank you.
I just didn't want to walk in there, look at pictures and go 'wow, these are pretty' and not ask any questions.
