Meeting with church

FH and I are meeting with our priest tonight! We're so nervous! We don't even know what to expect. What was your first meeting with the priest like? Did you have to take the FOCCUS test right then?

I was really nervous too haha, but there was no reason to be! Our meeting was very relaxed- basically a convo... The priest will ask you about your relationship, take all your info down (like where you received your sacraments, other basic info, etc,), discuss their guidelines, and I can't remember what else. And no you do foccus during ore cana at some point! That's what he told us at least haha

Meeting with church

Ours was very relaxed. He didn't ask us any uncomfortable questions (you know the ones I'm talking about lol). He just gave us all the paperwork and asked about our history (how we knew eachother, our sacraments, blah blah blah). Super easy and not worth the stress I put into it lol

Thanks! It wasn't as bad as I thought at all! I was so nervous though I clammed up and barely spoke haha. FH did most of the talking and the priest was joking around with us the whole time!

FH told me tonight that meeting with the priest and looking at the readings afterward made it really real for him and he almost 'lost it' a few times and he's so happy and thankful to be able to spend the rest of his life with me. So cute, I love him! Lol

Meeting with church

We met with the Priest a few week ago and my FH was really nervous because he's not Catholic and didn't know what to expect! The Priest was really nice and just asked us a few questions...now we're trying to figure out the FOCCUS questionnaire and when we're going to start Pre Cana!
