Meeting with deacon tonight for wedding date!!

Omg I am meeting with the deacon tonight to get a wedding date.
Im super nervous - what do you talk about when you meet with priest or deacon?
The priest couldn't meet with us at night that's why we are meeting with deacon.

Don't be nervous, you'll be just fine.

When FH and I met with our priest the first time, he asked us a little about our relationship. How we met, how long we've been together, how FH proposed......Then we talked about a possible date and then some of the rules and regulations of the church.

We also had to get permission to get married since I'm Catholic and FH is Episcopalian, so we talked about that as well.

It's really much easier and more relaxing than we all think it is first going in

We met with the deacon too. Don't be nervous, its just a get to know you type of thing.

I was nervous too, but he really made us feel comfortable. He asked us about how we met and then he asked me some questions and fh had to leave the room. Thing like have i ever been married before etc. And then fh had to do the same. It wasnt bad at all!

I was sooo nervous but they just asked us questions about how we met, how long we have been together. Then they asked were we went to school and stuff and then what date would we like. I was like thats it its over .... it happened so fast lol

When I met with the priest at my church it was pretty hardcore. He interrogated me and FH separately for so long. I felt it was unneccessary, and I think it was a personal thing... this priest has a grudge against my family... long story. You should be fine!
