I am meeting with DBR in Howard Beach today and this is my first florist appt. We dont have a huge budget for flowers but I was hoping for your advice and help on what to ask the florist so I know Im getting the best bang for my buck.

Ask them if they could work with in a budget. Me and FH went to Flower Michele and the owner John was amazing and I gave him a budget of under 2K. And it was even less than that. He told me where I could cut things. Pick flowers in the season that you are getting married, otherwise it might be more expensive. I am doing roses and fall flowers, with some orange to make it pop. Go to more than 1 florist. I went to 3 and I decided that Flower Michele was the best. Verbena Designs which is also amazing had my day booked, so we couldn't go with them.

Do u have a big bridal party ? because they were very pricey in my case !!

Doris and Rose are really nice and they quote me reasonably. Please be open for suggestions about flowers that are in season.

I booked them and they were totally open to working with my budget. Check my album for my sample centerpieces. Just let them know your budget when you get there, and they will show you past brides centerpieces that fit in that price range.
