Meeting with Patken tomorrow

I am meeting with Patken tomorrow and they are the first photographer I am looking into. If you girls wouldn't mind posting or FM me your quotes and packages just so I know if what they are telling me is a good deal or not I would appreciate it soooo much especially other patken girls! I was planning on setting up an appointment with Patken next week...they are the first photographer I will be looking at. I will also like to meet with Duet since I heard so many great things on this site. If you wouldn't mind sharing your info with me I will do the same when I set up appointments next week. Thanks!

I wasn't impressed with Patken...all their pictures looked the same and I felt like their prices were a little high. FSIL is also getting married and came with us for a quote. She said that she didnt want/need the engagement shoot or the STD's and all they could offer her was a free 8x10 in lieu of that. They wouldnt budge on the ONE AND ONLY package that they offer.

They also seemed like they couldnt care less that we were even there. Meanwhile, there were 2 brides there!!! Thats a lot of business.

We ended up with North Island Photography and could NOT be happier!!!

If you're going to the office in Lindenhurst, pick up food from Hing Hing on your way home. It's right next door and it's the most delicious Chinese food...

Other than that...I know nothing about Patken. I booked with Right Angle and I LOVE THEM!

GL at your appointment. I recommend the sing chow chow mai fun. Yummmmmm

That's odd I know alot of people who booked with Patken including myself my best friend, FSIL, etc. They added and removed things from our package to stay within out budget. I love their style and feel their pictures and style are amazing. I guess it's just a matter of taste..

I love Patken! There pictures are very artistic and their style is different from other photgraphers I have looked at. But everyone has different taste so Its really a matter of what type of pics you are looking to get and what styles you like. A bunch of my friends who just got married used them and their pics are amazing!!!

I'm glad that you guys had a good experience with them I was really looking forward to meeting with them but it didnt work out. Maybe it was just an off day for the woman we met with haha. She kept saying oh this is your rh...wait no, thats not it...oh here it is, nope not it hahahaha. Either way, there pictures are really nice. We have friends that used them and they got some really great shots. I guess I just wasnt feeling a connection with them. Everyone has a different experience and like I said i'm glad that you had a great one

I'm meeting with Patken this morning... I'll let you guys know how it goes. My friend is using them in August so I feel like that will be a good test too (I'm in the wedding). I'm also meeting with Michael O'Neill photography today. Anyone know anything about them?

I also have meetings with Golden Moments, **************, Anthony Vazquez/Perceptions and ******** Photography...
