My wedding is June 27, 2008 - is it crazy to wait until end of August to buy? I plan on looking starting August 5.
I don't want to go shopping until I'm more fit and toned.

I think a year is enough time. It usually takes 6-9 months for dresses to com in. On the other hand, it's not too early to look either.

normally 10 months is ok, first find out how long it takes the designer of the dress you want.
And why do you need to get fit, you're crazy...trust me you can buy it now, I DONT think you need to lose anything but what little you do want to lose they can just take that in

I would start looking around... chances are your sexy asss is going to even finer on your wedding day than when you decide to start looking. Besides, you're dress will more likely than not need to be altered anyway, so you might as well start looking at least to get an idea of what you want.

I guess you're all right - I should just start now - I really want to, I just really don't want to.
I haven't even got an outfit for my e-pic shoot which is Thursday, or my e-party (Aug 3 - eons away). I'm usually a game-time decision kind of gal but I can't really do that with THE dress!
