FH and I talked almost all day , but now I feel bad for having a meltdown. The Wedding is 257 days away - and although we have almost all of our vendors booked we still have financial issues to iron out wich is super stressful. I have a ton of housework and errands to run both everyday and wedding related ( this is partly my fault as fh handels the finances and not housework per our arrangement) and he just books us for 3 social events per day every weekend since literally July and dosen't see why I dont have time to go to the gym or am tired at said events. I was feeling this way all week when - FH just told me last night that we have to go on a business trip together (for his job)to a destination that will require me to wear a bathing suit and summer attire in two months- did I mention that his psycho ex hook up who acts like an ex long term girlfriend will also be there ........I have also btw gained about 20 pounds since I last saw her.........
Was I wrong to have a meltdown ........ any words of wisdom?

Re: Meltdown
aww.....don't freak it.
I know how overwhelming it all can be sometimes. My wedding is 258 days away (same weekend!) and it just seems to be moving so fast.
I had a similar experience with a psycho ex-hookup who tells EVERYONE that they dated. We both went back to Florida for a football game/reunion and she was there. With everything going on, I most certainly wasn't looking my best.
I was so nervous the whole time leading up to the confrontation. But you know what, when I finally saw her, he stood up and said 'I want you to meet my fiance'!!!
Nothing could make me feel prettier and more amazing than the way he held me and introduced me to her. Besides, I think the diamonds make me look even hotter!!!
Girls like that try to cause lots of problems. But he chose you and wants you by his side. Now that I remember how nervous I was before seeing her it's seems so insignificant to how I felt like a million bucks when I actually met her.

Don't panic... things can definitely get stressful the closer you get to the wedding. Maybe suggest that instead of all these social events, you need some time to yourself (ie going to the gym) or maybe switch it up a little and you do some finances and let FH do some housework. Maybe just save housework for one weekend day and you and FH tear through it and make it easier and quicker... I think you just need to be honest and tell him it's too much. He should understand.

Re: Meltdown
Ladies thank you both soo much for your replies.
My friends are mostly single - and unfortunatly try but aren't in the same boat as me so your support is soo appreciated.
We had a long talk this am - and I took the day off from the 3 events he had us scheduled for today - I finished up chores and took a loong bath and took time to relax.
I have decided to get a house cleaner 2x a month, ask FH to drop off and pick up laundry from now on. I am also adding a daily hour after work to work out and a massage at the nail place during my weekly mani. I figure this will all be less $$$ than the therapist we will both need if I continue at this rate.
Again thank you !

Re: Meltdown
Make sure to make time for yourself...i know when i don't get my 'me' time I get VERY cranky and tend to take it out on FH...I have also learned to tell FH that I need help with things once in awhile...just help me clean or take care of our dogs for me....then i don't feel so overwhelmed and stressed...i think as women we try to do it all and it ends up making us miserable at times! Glad to see you have taken some time out for you...as for the psycho EX...just make sure your e-ring is clean and shiny and keep it flashing at all times...hahaha.

Too funny! Good Luck with ex. And Im glad that FH is going to help you out. It can get tough once you make an agreement to share things-you realize you get the ****** end of it. Just make sure to always make time for yourself even if its just 1/2 hour for a bat
