I was wondering if you could post pictures of your memorial candles..it's my next DIY I'm attempting. We have a lot of people that have passed away so I think I'm only going to do one for my mom...and wanted to look at some samples before I did it.
Also..where are you putting your candle? I was thinking near the guestbook...but we're doing a polaroid guestbook adn dont' want to see people crying int he pics you know? Where is a good location to put the candle and some pictures? Thanks!!

But I think maybe where the place cards are or maybe ask for a spec table somewhere.

This is the one we made for DH's mom. We placed it on the table with our unity candle for the ceremony and then it went on the table with the cardbox, We Do letters, and Wish Bowl; which sat behind us at the reception.
I dont' have a pic uploaded yet but we did a memorial candle. We had it burning at Mass at the Mary's statue... because after Communion we put flowers at Mary's altar in memory of DH's mom.
We intended to bring it to the reception hall and leave it burning on the mantle of the fire place in the hall, but my friend who packed everything up forgot that I wanted it at the hall... so it was packed up. :( oh, well.
