Hello ladies. I am looking for a thoughtful an respectful quote to put on my memorial candle. We have 6 names to put on it so we don't want anything too long. Any suggestions? TIA!

I used this. I also put a picture in. I did it as a DIY candle. It was a lot cheaper.

does anyone know what a luminarie is? i looked on etsy and there were a lot of $3-5 of these but it seems like just the paper surround? what do you put under this?

I purchased a vase at Michael's along with Vellum paper. I printed the poem on the vellum paper using my regular printer at home then used a double stick tape that's made for vellum paper to hold it together once I wrapped it around the vase. Then I bought the self stick decals you see on the top and bottom. I actually got a candle from the dollar store that fit inside. I only had one person so I put the name right on that candle and had a picture (I can post a pic of the setup I had of it too) but what a friend of mine did was get small votive candle holders, printed each of the names on vellumm paper, then fit them to the votive candles. She had one votive candle for each person around a larger candle. I think the whole thing cost me $15 if that to make.

I hope I made sense as to how I did it. If not let me know and I'll try to explain it better in FM.
