Memory Candle - is this a good idea?

I have both sets of grandparents deceased FH had grandpa and uncle deceased also my stepmoms dad passed away 2 yrs ago. what do you think if I get one memory candle and have that on the mantle of the fireplace and put family pictures of those who have passed on the mantle as well?

Other wise it would be like too many candles and become a very depressing thing...

That's a beautiful idea for a memorial alter sort of display.

We listed all the names of those who couldn't be with us on the back of our program -- it said 'always in our heart' and made MIL cry when she saw her parents listed there. (I've also lost 3 grand parents and my step mom's mother.)

If you don't want to do candles or photos, you could also just do a list like that on the program or in a frame.

I think that would work really well. I agree that too many candles would be overwhelming.

If it was one or 2 who died I would just list there names on the candle but we have like 7 and don't want it to look morbid and I think would be nice to see their faces ughh I think I'm going to cry

I think that's a really nice idea; I'm pretty sure that is what we are going to do also.
