Those are great quotes. Thanks I unfortunately need to pick one as well for my FH's mom.

This is what we put on our candle


Today we pause to reflect upon those hwo have shaped and touched our hearts.
May the lighting of this candle be a reminder of the memories we have shared, a representation of the everlasting impact you have made upon our lives.

Although we cant see you
We know that you are here
Smiling down warching over use
As we say 'I do'
Forever in our hearts
Forever in our lives
And so we say our vows
In Love memory of you

This is what we used:

Those we love remain with us,
For love itself lives on.
Cherished memories never fade,
Because one loved is gone.
Those we love can never be,
More than a thought apart.
For as long as there's a memory,
They live on in our heart.

This candle is in loving memory of our family members who could not be with us today.

DH and I lite out candle at the start of the ceremony. The deacon spoke some words about our loved ones not being with us in person, but being there is spirit and blessing our love and marriage from above. We also printed the poem and named and put it in the program as well.
