As you may know Ray is going away for 4 weeks for training for his new job... and he is leaving the day before Valentines Day. For his gift I was planning on getting sexy photographs done at Glamour Shots or a similar place for him.. the poses would be almost nude in lingerie, blankets, etc. I was leaning towards this because I can get the pics really quick, since I have less than 2 weeks left. After reading btrflygrl's post on NWR about forgetting this type a picture and going for the fully nude I am wondering what I should do? If I do the fully nude I might not be able to get them in time before he leaves because I have to find a photographer that I am not shy in front of.. when the other ones I would have no problem doing in front of any photographer. Also, I would be afraid of someone else finding or seeing the fully nude ones when with the other ones I wounldn't care. So I am leaning towards the 'sexy' ones... but I want him to REALLY like these pics since we are going to be apart for so long. Would a guy like this gift or should I not even bother? I need a guys opinion on what he would like the best. Thanks.

julz...not a guy, but i think either one would be appreciated and NEVER forgotten. since time is on your shoulders right not, go with glamour shots and maybe do the not so 'glamour' ones for your anniversary.

julz, would it pose a problem if you posed nude and DH is like, 'somebody else saw you naked?' ***....
i for oen wouldnt want FW to do somthing naked related with anyone else... only exception being docters...

Imagination is the best aphrodesiac there is. Go for the Sexy photos, not the full nude. Ray's imagination will fill in the blanks when and IF it's needed. Besides - then there's no issue of .. Some GUY SAW YOU NAKED???
I guess I know my answer if I decide I want to do this for my DH sometime

I agree...as a guy, I find that sexy photos look much better than the full nudity. It's not so much leaving things up to the imagination as it also brings a playful and seductive look to the photo.

I asked Brad, and while it's not really his thing in general, he would much rather them be the 'sexy' pics than the fully nude ones. He hates the idea of me posing naked for a photographer.

I voted nude, My DH would love a T&A shot, money shot not necessary. I would def get the rights to all of the film though, and have it developed myself, unless you totally trusted photographer.

Maybe you can have like your sister or someone very close to you take the pics. I would never let someone take those type pics of me, God only knows where they would wind up. I trust nobody LOL. I love the gft idea though and I am sure he would too.

Not a guy so I didn't vote but I just wanted to tell you to really think about the nude ones. You never know what course your life may take -- would fully nude photos of you (no matter how tastefully done) be something that might come back to haunt you later? In your career, perhaps?

ok, you wanted a male opnion, so i'll give you one
i personally don't see the value of giving sexy photos as a gift. To me, it's a waste of money. I read some of the other posts that it is a way to enhance his 'imagnigation'. You're married -- the mystery is over, he's seen you naked, so I don't really see the point in spending money on something that he has seen quite often.
To me, it would be of more value to dress up in whatever lingerie you were going to wear in the pic and surprise him when he came home. At least then, it's a live visual and will lead to the next logical step. But, just giving him a picture, is like taking him by a steakhouse and showing him a pic of a porterhouse.
Save your money and plan an experience, not just an image.

Glamour Shots will most likely not have your pictures ready in time - they're not very quick. In my opinion, they are also REDICULOUSLY overpriced.
Before you do anything, make sure they can get the pictures to you in time - they charge a LOT.

I am not a guy, so this is totally from a female POV, but I think the pics would be for Julz as well. That is why I would have them done. So that in 20 years, when I had my babies and who knows what is drooping on me, I can look at the pics with DH proudly, knowing that I had my hot time.
I also think the pics come out great, and it is cool to see yourself in that kind of way.
Tell him be careful with pics while he is traveling, you don't want the hotel maids to get a hold of them.
