Mens Warehouse Question

I was thinking of doing tuxes through them ~ here's my questions. I've heard they tend to screw up the sizing quite often. Has anyone experienced this? Did they fix it? Also, I have people who do not live on Long Island that will be needing tuxes. Do you know how this works? Do they go to Mens Warehouse by them and can it be 'linked' to our wedding? I obviously want them to all have matching tuxes but it's unrealistic for them to come all the way here (LI) just to get fitted and wouldn't they need to pick up the tux by their house before they come for the wedding?? HELP THANKS!!!!!

I know they can pick it up and return the tux at any mens warehouse.

Mens Warehouse Question

I used mens warehouse - 4 different ones. The only one we had a problem with the sizing with was massapequa. 2 tuxes were picked up out of state (2 different states). DH & I picked everything out in the store in Lake Grove (by Jared's) and everyone went where they wanted to get their tux. All tuxes were returned to Lake Grove the day after the wedding. Don't go to the massapequa store, they are RUDE. My SIL brought our RB in he got measured, when they when in to pick up the tux she yelled at my SIL that my SIL ordered the wrong size. Hello, you measured the boy not my SIL. That was the only problem with 8 tux rentals.

Mens Warehouse Question

We used the one in Oceanside and they were super nice!! We had an OOT who got measured in his local town and called Men's Warehouse with his measurements. I dont think you will have a problem and most of the time if there is an issue they fix it right away. One of the gm pants were too big and they fixed right away. HTH!

Mens Warehouse Question

We are using them for our March wedding, and so far they have been pretty reliable. We have some out of town guests- they went to a Mens Wearhouse local to them for sizing, and selected a store around here to pick it up from the weekend of the wedding. I wouldn't worry about the tuxes not matching- it seems all Men's Wearhouses have all options available.

Mens Warehouse Question

stay on top of them the whole time! DH has never had luck at any of the mens wearhouses he's had to use (brooklyn and s.i.) one worse then the other.
once they gave him the completely wrong tux, another i had to fight them with the size, next time it was given to him with a dirty tissue still in the pocket, a shirt that had never been washed - ring around the collar was an unstatement, the whole neck of the shirt was black...ugh! cant stand that company.

Re: Mens Warehouse Question

We used Men's Warehouse for our wedding and everything turned out ok. I also had people who lived in Connecticut that needed tuxes and they went to one out there and still no problem. All you do is go to whichever Men's Warehouse you want (I used the one in Lake Grove), pick the tux you want and they put everything in the computer. When the out of state people go to whichever store they are using, they give them the groom's name and they will see what was ordered. Take their measurements and tell them when to pick it up. Usually they tell the guys to pick up their tuxes only like a day or 2 before the wedding so the people out of state may want to pick theirs up a day or 2 earlier than that just to make sure.

On the other hand, a friend of mine who got married a year before said she had a few problems but they fixed them with no problem. I believe she also had groomsmen that used different stores because of their locations as well and she said her's all turned out fine too.

Hope this helps.
