Men's wearhouse Tux

Hey all,

I heard really mixed responses about Tux's from men's wearhouse. Our GM are from all over and need to be able to order & pick up where they are. Any suggestions??

The only negative thing I heard was that you can't try the tux on, they are all displayed. If you have no luck with MW and you choose another place; I believe the GM can just call your Tux store and they can give their measurements and pay over the phone with a credit card.

our experience with MW was really bad (so we aren't using them).. Initially, i thought it was best to use them because they are national and no matter where our GM lived, they'd have it easy. however, FH couldn't try on any tuxes, they have very limited styles for vests, colors, ties, shoes etc. and i also heard there were a lot of problems from certain girls on LIW...anyway, we went to a place on LI and they said out-of-town GM are no big deal. they gave me measurement cards to send to my GMs, they can go to a local tux/cleaner, etc and they will measure them for free (this is apparently a courtesy that other tux places offer, etc)...and my GMs just have to mail the measurements/email them back to the place(or me) and the final fitting can even be the day before the wedding. etc. so long story short, you don't HAVE to go with MW, just because of your OOT GMs. lots of places will work with your situation. I didnt check them out so don't know but i wanted to suggest something you can do if you have guys from everywhere. You can still go to some place closer to you or another place you want to go to even though they have just 1 store. For example one of our GM lived in NJ and it was pointless for him to drive from NJ to LI just to get measured. What the tuxedo shop did was give us a bunch of little cards with all the measurements they need and they told us that any of our guys can go to some place near them, even a tailor or dry cleaning place to get measured and just call them up and give them the measurements. It worked out fine bc we picked up the tux for him he didnt even have to pick it up and we had it at DH's house the morning of. The good thing is that we used tuxedo park and you dont have to drop it off to them. Since tuxedo park was a vendor of JT, all the guys had to do was leave their tuxes with someone at JT and somebody from Tuxedo park picked it up the next day from JT. All our guys were very happy about that, they all brought a change of clothes and changed at the end of the night and left tuxes with our bridal attendant and thats it.

do NOT NOT NOT go to the mens wearhouse in huntington!!!!!!!!!! read about it in my wedding review... we were NOOOOT happy!
