So this was the one project that I left the FH to pick and told him that I'm not going to interfere. He went with his bestman at Menswearhouse. They picked out the CK Super 100s which apparently was the best according to the store. I'm having doubts about it as to me it looks like a traditional suit. Usually tuxedos have the satin lapel but this one doesn't look like it has one. It looks like a black suit!!!!!!
Has anyone of your FH ordered that and if you have pictures can you post please!!!!!!!

we are thinking about doing this tuxedo from Mens wearhouse as well. I guess it is a more modern looking tuxedo. All depends on how traditional you want the men to look.

I know I might be overthinking it, I just thought that since I don't get to see him in a tux and he wears suits to work, thought I'd see something different. It doesn't look like they have a tux with a higher shimmer satin in the lapel.

Maybe you could express that concern to your FH. I understand how you feel. You want to see him in a different way. Give him some suggestions on other tuxedo styles.
