Menu DIY help

If I were to make a menu, what are the standard sizes for a bi-layered menu card?

I don't think there are any standard sizes, most are custom. When you say bi-layered, do you mean folded or one on top of the other?

One on top of the other. I want to purchase 81/2 by 11' paper, how would I get it cut?

It depends where you get it from, I think.

I know Paper Presentation in the city will cut what you buy there for you. I believe I've heard other B2B's say they were going to Kinkos.

I'm just going to cut the paper myself - I have a kicka$$ fiskars cutter.

i would cut 8.5x11 into 4.25x11 panels and mount it on 4.75x12 paper. you can get 12x12 at a craft store

I bought standard sized paper (8.5x11) for the bottom and the top. i have a paper cutter at home and one at work i can use. so i was going to cut it in half, the top layer a little smaller than the bottom, so you can see the layers.

KINKO's cuts stacks of paper for only $1.50 per stack (They were able to cut 100 pages of cardstock for me... only $1.50) I can't help you with sizes though- sorry
