Menu timeframe?

I am getting married on 9-18 too!
I just ordered place cards.
My hall provides two menus for the table that they put in picture frames that get passed around the table. I think I am going to keep it simple and just use those and not order additional ones- are you sure your hall doesnt provide menus?

well I'd say as soon as you have your menu finalized I would put an order in right away if you are planning on having someone do them for you. If you are doign them yourself, I would definitely start buying the paper and supplies you will need and get a template made on Microsoft Word or whatever program you are using to make them.

Same thing with the place cards, as soon as you have your final count/guest list for the wedding, I would start cranking them out so you aren't stuck doing them the week of your wedding.

i made my menus on vistaprint about 2 weeks ago and they just got delivered yesterday (so that' was about 5 weeks pre-wedding)

i'm going to make place cards this weekend maybe ... i gotta figure out the seating chart first

My place is supply menus also..I am not bothering with it at all.. One less thing to spend money and time on...People will also be told what their choices are if they can't read the menu.
