Just a quick question, is it normal protocol to have menus? Or can I get away with out having to do that?

Re: menus
I think most people just do it as an added touch...I don't think it is necessary at all!!! Most weddings I have been to didn't have menus.......

Re: menus
I think it is a nice touch, but not required.
My venue suggested this because it will spead up the time it takes to take orders -(no orders on RSVP card).
If you are having a large wedding with a lot of choices this might be a good idea.
I am expecting 175 people and they expect it to take 45 mins to take all the oders!

Re: menus
I agree with the other posts, definitely not neceesary, just an added touch people choose to do. I plan on doing them myself, but with that said, I have never been to a wedding that had them.

Re: menus
Yea that is good idea hocus we are having 175 and a choice of 4 entrees so we may need to order menus but they are expensive though

Re: menus
We're having menu's stating our entree's ONLY b/c our guests choose from 7 - and I don't want the waiters screaming at the guests over the music!
