Meow Mix Cafe

Has anyone seen this?? I passed by it this morning...But it doesn't open until 12.

It's on 5th ave at 39th.

I haven't seen it, but I read about it .. it made me laugh, but its such a weird idea.

Cats aren't too social with other cats they don't know...

I could NEVER take my Mia there -- she does not play well with others . Just taking her to the vet this past weekend was traumatic!

Meow Mix was the name of a famous lesbian bar/club near Houston Street. I don't think it's there anymore.

It is a lesbian bar - at least it was last time my friends and I stumbled upon it one night about 3 years ago. We didn't realize it until we saw there was no men's bathroom :)

well according to the other posts the place you are talking about is on houston street. i mentioned in my first post that the place i passed by was on 5th avenue at 39th street...

Yep, I just thought there might be a new one in midtown. Village Voice had an article saying that the club planned to move from its old location. I guess this place you walked by is a different sort of Meow Mix!
