Message Board Newbie
I just recently joined LIWeddings and am having a lot of fun researching the boards and finding out about potential vendors I'm interested in. I'm glad to read that Majestic Gardens is well liked. They just redid the entire place a year ago, so everything will be brand new when we get married. We're going for a food tasting Dec 17, so I'm excited about that, and hope the food is as good as I hear. Dominique has been a pleasure to work with too! I'm still in the decisive stage about photography/video/limo etc. It's a tough decision. You hear both good and bad and hope what you go with turns out good! We met with Ariana Studios(Wedding Plaza) and are impressed and leaning towards going with them. We have a few more appt with Daniel Krieger, Mark Kauffman, and Bella Pictures. I also may meet with Gray Studios. What's great about Ariana is the whole package. It's A LOT for A LOT less than JUST photo/video.
I have to say I'm enjoying the planning, even though it can be overwhelming at times. I've gone dress shopping a number of times, and still haven't found THE dress, although I've found a few. I LOVE Maggie Sottero and Demetrios. Many of their styles looked gorgeous on. I'll probably make my decision by January. I still have time.
