met bride getting married at same venue on same day as me...AHHHH!

i don't know if it's bad luck or anything, but a girl came into my store that's getting married at the same venue as me on the same day...i know they do other weddings on the same day however i never thought i'd meet the other person and know i know they actually exist, lol!?!?! am i nervous for no reason?!?!

Unless she's your FH and it's your wedding day... I've never heard of this as being a 'bad luck' thing. Of course, DH and I saw each other the morning we got married -- we decided to do a reveal at the hotel and take our pictures before the ceremony.

Luck is just a state of mind. I wouldn't think twice about it!

I don't think it's bad luck, although I understand your concern, you don't want to think about someone else getting married at the same place/same location as you.

Just keep in mind that both of your weddings will be radically different (flowers, dj's/band's, guests, FH's) just because you met this girl doesn't mean you will have bad luck, it just means you both have GREAT taste in reception halls and dates

its funny cuz i actually thought the opposite of u...i was at a jericho terrace bridal showcase and saw that someone signed up for something with my same wedding date...i actually wanted 2 meet her to talk with her

My date/venue twin is on LIW - we were so excited about it. It would have been cool to see each other actually, but we didn't run into each other - I was packing up and she was taking pictures in the back...
